PSA: We have arrived
To blogspot.
To parenthood.
To a new chapter in our lives.
And since we have arrived, it seemed like the right time to re-enter the world of blogging once again. Especially now that we have something adorable, cuddly and cute to blog about-our brand new baby girl Grace Elizabeth Clark.
We chose the name "momentsofgrace3" for our blog for a few reasons. One, let's be honest, the content of this blog will probably be centered around our daughter the majority of the time. Duh. Two, we just celebrated 5 years of marriage in which we were able to very easily identify moments in our marriage in which God interceded with grace, love, blessings and mercy for the cheif end of strengthening our union. Three, we understand that as we continue down the road and our family grows over the years we will experience many more moments of His grace and it is our goal to allow those moments to live well in our home. We LOVE the verse from 2 Corinthians 12: 9 "And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness " Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me." Thus, our blog's theme.
Although we will not have the time or energy to update this blog daily, it's our goal to update a few times a week depending on what is going on in our world. We hope that this blog will help out-of-town family/friends feel updated and connected with how our family is doing, especially baby Grace. To get that party started, below are the details of Grace's arrival for those who have not yet heard......
Grace Elizabeth Clark
Born 4/23/2010 at 1:54 pm
7 lbs 2 ounces
18 inches long
We just had a pediatrician appointment yesterday where she received a clean bill of health. We'll go back in two weeks for the next regular checkup. She is a good eater/good sleeper so far and appears to generally be a happy and content baby. She is adorable and we are overjoyed to have her here with us! We can't believe that she is almost one week old-time is already going way too fast for us.
Doogan (our dog/first "baby") is adjusting beautifully to having her here. He is very protective of her and likes to sit and look at her while she sleeps. Our little family's harmony is naturally falling into place and we are deliriously happy. PTL. We can't wait to spend the next few months introducing our Gracie girl to everyone!
Until Then...

I am so going to enjoy reading your blogs. Congrats again on the birth of your beautiful Grace. By the way I am coming to Bloomington on Saturday 5/15. I will be staying at the Chateau hotel. Are you near there?
ReplyDeleteHi Beck!! So excited to add this to our blog list! Can't wait to see what little Gracie is up to...I'll message you later about possible phone date times. Love you all!
ReplyDeletePam-We should be around that day! We know a few Pam's so I want to make sure I'm talking to Macomb Pam? :) If so, we are actually planning on coming to CBC for Sunday either on Mother's Day or the following Sunday. So that would also be an option potentially. Let me know what you think!
ReplyDeleteBeth-I know! This is so fun! Just emailed you back...
